Hi Ivan;

The NDT is a software tool that uses the Web100 variables to perform its diagnostic function. Questions about this tool should be made to the <ndt-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> list.

The client (applet) and server communicate over a standard TCP socket. The client does active opens, while the server listens for incoming requests and there are some timing messages that get exchanged to get things started. Try running the server in debug mode or you could capture the message exchanges on port 3001 to see what is getting dropped.

Hi! I've detected some problems using web100 with a satellite
connection.
The Browser client outputs (in the java applet):
____________________________________________________
Checking for Middleboxes...................... Done
running 10s outbound test (client to server).....
Server failed while sending data
____________________________________________________

And the server's log:

_____________________________________________________
Recieved SIGALRM signal: Terminating active Web100srv process [12345]
Killing off stuck process 12345 at Oct, 24 12:00:00
_____________________________________________________

Then the server should be restarted.
The satellite conection is composed by a ethernet cable from the client
to an integrator (similar to a modem) and from the integrator to a
satellit. Is possible that the Web100srv don't works correctly with a
non-fisical conection? Thanks!
