Hi Ivan;

The NDT is a software tool that uses the Web100 variables to perform its 
diagnostic function.  Questions about this tool should be made to the 
<ndt-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> list.

The client (applet) and server communicate over a standard TCP socket.  The 
client does active opens, while the server listens for incoming requests 
and there are some timing messages that get exchanged to get things 
started.  Try running the server in debug mode or you could capture the 
message exchanges on port 3001 to see what is getting dropped.
