Hi! I just restaged my Web100 server with both NDT and NPAD from PSC and it occurred to me that there might be a possibility of skewed results if both tests(NDT and NPAD) are being run by users at the same time if some sort of resource contention happened (CPU or Bandwidth). The system is GigE connected to about 250mb/s of bandwidth shared between I2 and the commercial internet. I can’t think of any reason why there would be a problem...but you never know. Can anybody give me a heads up as to if they have experienced any difficulties in this sort of situation? Apologies in advance if somebody asked this question before...I just re-joined the mailing list after a hiatus. -Doug B CISE/NSF/OAD/OCI _______________________________________________ Discussion mailing list Discussion@xxxxxxxxxx http://internal.web100.org/mailman/listinfo/discussion |
