I just removed stats to recompile the kernel and the crashing stopped but more importantly, it appears that network transfers were significantly misbehaving with just web100 installed: Netatalk Appleshare server was operating as if it on a 10BaseT network and the Retrospect backup client essentially stopped working altogether. Interestingly, ssh and samba didn't seem to be affected.

But for now, I think what I'll do is create a VMWare-based environment and run web100 inside that.

This code has been completely revamped in a major revision of the Web100 patch I'm working on. This

I'm really glad you are continuing the effort in this project. The NDT facility is very useful and it depends on web100.
