Does the driver work in a stock kernel (no Web100 patch) built from source?

Thanks,

I have a server, Intel S5000 motherboard, with the Embedded Server RAID
Technology II (ESB2) on board RAID. The RAID is supported via a third
party driver available from the Intel download site.

This driver works with the stock Red Hat Enterprise 5 kernel
(2.6.18-1.2747.el5) but fails with a web-100 kernel (2.6.24.3-web100)

 # insmod megasr.ko
insmod: error inserting 'megasr.ko': -1 Invalid module format
 # dmesg | tail -1
megasr: disagrees about version of symbol struct_module

Has anyone else gotten this driver to work with any web100 enabled
kernel? Failing that, does anyone have any pointers in getting this
driver to work with a web100 kernel?

I have no sources for the driver. It is binary-only, so I cannot compile
the driver for the web100 kernel.

RTFM welcomed with pointers to the FM to R.
