[Discussion] Trying to "make bzImage"

With a CentOS 5.2 (2.6.18) installation and source from kernel.org, the patch ... up to "make bzImage" went alright.

The last command errors out with " FATAL: Could not open /lib/modules/2.6.18-web100/modules  "

I do not mind reloading the OS from scratch since I have 6 clean hosts that Web100 has to go on, but I need to get this done very soon.  Is there any item or blanket suggestion that might cover a lot of issues?  Thanks
