Re: module directory naming. Try backing out the makefile patch that adds
-web100 to the EXTRAVERSION. This will cause the kernel to revert to a
standard version (e.g. "2.6.18").
It sounds like something is missing from your kernel build process, so it is
not correctly building the target module directory.

I think the file in question, Python.h, was recently moved from the base
package to the -dev. When we generate a new release, we will probably change
the error message to make it more accurate and update the documentation to
indicate that both packages are required, if not already present.
Would this happen to be a new debian system, or ubuntu hardy-heron?
